Today, Huawei Malaysia just announced two new improved devices for the Malaysian market - the MatePad 11.5''S PaperMatte Edition and the Matebook 14. While it's not officially launched yet, the scheduled date is set for 18 June 2024. Here's what you need to know about the new tablet and laptop, respectively.
Not much information is known but the MatePad 11.5''S PaperMatte Edition is an upper variant of the original MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition that was released in February this year. According to Huawei, it has a new 144Hz PaperMatte Display with a magnetically-controlled nano-optical layer technology that reduces light reflection and enhances clarity with an anti-glare feature.
As for the MateBook 14, it is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processor, delivering up to 40W TDP. It also features a 2.8K OLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is certified by TÜV Rheinland. It also weighs 1.31 kg only and measures 14.5mm in thickness. Of course, the laptop has some AI tools such as AI Camera and AI Sound for an enhanced video conference call experience.
If you want to pre-order the new MatePad 11.5''S PaperMatte Edition, it begins today until 17 June 2024. Customers who pay the deposit will receive complimentary gifts worth up to RM2,046, which includes the HUAWEI M-Pencil and HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, both powered by NearLink, plus an additional RM200 voucher rebate. As for the MateBook 14, customers can also enjoy complimentary gifts worth up to RM1,614 during the same pre-order period.
