Today, Huawei confirmed that it will release the MatePad Pro 12.2" in Malaysia on 18 June 2025. There is no official price tag yet, but the pre-orders are now live, which include a bundle of complimentary gifts worth RM2,045.
A Tablet with a Desktop-like Experience
One of the highlights is the MatePad Pro 12.2’s Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display with 2,000 nits peak brightness and a 92% screen-to-body ratio. Built with professional-grade colour accuracy, the tablet also has eye protection certifications from SGS and TÜV Rheinland, further supporting long hours of use with reduced visual fatigue.
Designed to deliver a desktop-like experience, users can transition from rest to work in seconds thanks to a single-step open/close mechanism, one-handed operation, and multi-angle screen support. The MatePad Pro’s redesigned keyboard also includes magnetic stylus storage with auto-charging.
To support productivity straight out of the box, the tablet includes a PC-level version of WPS Office Suite. An alternative to Microsoft Office, this allows users to work on documents, presentations, and spreadsheets without compromising features typically reserved for laptops or desktops.
Launch Details and Pre-Order Perks
Early buyers can take advantage of blind pre-orders from 9 to 17 June via the Huawei Store, with a RM50 deposit (RM150 total). The pre-order bundle includes the HUAWEI M-Pencil, Mouse, Backpack, SoundJoy 2, and the WPS Office Suite. An additional RM100 early-bird voucher is also available for both online and in-store purchases.
By the way, the pre-order deposit is RM50. Customers can pay the rest of the balance on 18 June 2025 at 4 PM, which will last until 31 July 2025.
