Monitors are one of those things you only buy when it's worth it. This is why it's nice to have more options, especially if they turn out to be good ones. As spotted on Vmall, Huawei has just launched the Huawei MateView series, which has two new models.
First up is the 28.2-inch Huawei MateView with a screen-to-body ratio of 94%. This 4K (3840x2560) IPS display also has a peak brightness of 500nits, covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and HDR400 support. On top of that, it has plenty of I/O ports including two USB-C, one HDMI, one Mini-DisplayPort, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It even has features like height adjustment, dual 5W speakers, and more.

The second model is MateView GT, which is more of a gaming monitor. This 34-inch ultra-wide (1500R curvature) monitor has a max resolution of 3440x1440 pixels, a max refresh rate of 165Hz, and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. What's interesting is the built-in soundbar, which packs two 5W speakers inside. It comes with two HDMI, one DisplayPort, one USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.
Huawei will be retailing the MateView for 4699 yuan (~RM3039) and the MateView GT for 3599 yuan (~RM2327). They are currently available in China only, but the company could release them globally in the coming months (fingers crossed!) Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for potential launch updates!
