Just earlier this week, Huawei Mobile has announced that their collaboration with mm2 Entertainment Pte Ltd, Astro and StarHub will commence The Voice ???? production. The popular singing contest show will premiere on 17 September in both Singapore and Malaysia, with first-over official coaches - Tan Hanjin ???, Della Ding ??, Gary Chaw ?? and Sky Wu ???.
The production is said to take place at Pinewoord Studios in Johor Bahru. So far, the organisers have received over 2000 submissions from Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries since May for the Online Audition. Only 100 contestants will be shortlisted and will enter the first stage “The Blind Auditions”. The winner of the competition will be awarded a single recording contract by Universal Music Group which may also award recording contracts to other contestants at its own discretion.
