The Huawei Nova 2s is slowly gaining the momentum hype and today will be the launch date in Beijing, China. Before it goes out live, someone has managed to do an unboxing and hands-on video of the device. Check the video out below.

If you can't watch the video (because you're working), the first impression of the phone is that it doesn't even look like a mid-range smartphone at all because it kind of isn't, as it comes in a glassy body with a 6-inch FullView display with an 18:9 screen-to-body ratio at the front but despite that, the home button is able to fit in the bottom front as a fingerprint sensor. The dual cameras for both front and back are also true.

Meanwhile, in the Nova 2s box, there's the standard USB cable and charging adapter, but also an extra pair of earphones which is quite rare for Huawei to do so. On the tech-specs side, it's said the smartphone will feature a Kirin 960 processor, 6GB of RAM, EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo and there's even facial recognition. Of course, the camera remains true as last time, using 20MP + 16MP sensor for the rear, while the front uses dual 20MP for each sensor.

So what do you think of the Nova 2s? It's certainly a very intriguing device and we hope to see it coming to Malaysia in the near future. Stay tuned for the official Nova 2s news at TechNave.com.
