Previously, it was reported that the Huawei Mate 40 series and Nova 8 series would be unveiled before the end of 2020. Now that the Mate 40 series has made the debut, we have gotten confirmation that the Nova 8 SE is coming soon on this week thanks to an official poster.

From the poster, Huawei has also confirmed some official features for the smartphone. The first one would be the 66W SuperCharge technology that was shown on the Mate 40 series, followed by a 64MP quad rear camera module and a 6.53-inch OLED display. On top of that, a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner can be seen on the front display too.

Rumours have it that an 8MP ultrawide lens and two 2MP lenses could be accompanying the 64MP main camera. It's unknown if the Nova 8 SE could have a wireless charging technology but we would give a benefit of a doubt. To a piece of related news, Huawei Malaysia has yet to announce if the Mate 40 series would come to Malaysia or not and it's a tough call given with the reception for lacking GMS. This goes the same for the Nova 8 SE as well.

But what do you think? Should Huawei Malaysia import the Nova 8 SE into the Malaysian market anyway? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
