Huawei Nova Campus Roadshow giving Nova 3 series first-hand experience & a scholarship through the Nova Apprentice Program

If you're a Huawei fan and still studying, you should be excited that there's an on-going Huawei Nova Campus Roadshow making stops at 13 different universities all over Klang Valley! Started since 14 August until 18 October 2018, the selected universities will allow students to have a hands-on experience on the newly launched Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones.

With the first two universities, the roadshow had already attracted more than 900 students to experience the two phones, exploring the AI Cameras, 3D QMOJI and there are also the AI Selfie Contest and AR Video Challenge for them to stand a chance to win a free phone. Aside from that, the gamers also checked out the GPU Turbo which has already been rolled out via OTA update.

Besides that, Matthew Ng, Deputy Country Director, HUAWEI Malaysia also mentioned that the company is inviting university students to participate in the Nova Apprentice Program where scholarships total up to RM30,000 will be handed out to the winning teams. What the participants need to do is develop digital plans and eCommerce business model based on a specific task. Not only will the winning team get a scholarship, but they may also earn an internship opportunity at Huawei. 

Anyway, if you want to win either the Nova 3 or 3i from the AI Selfie and AR Video Challenge contest, as well as joining the Nova Apprentice Program, below are the following steps and the roadmap for selected universities:

AI Selfie Contest

1. Take a selfie at the AI Selfie Corner background with the Nova 3 or nova 3i
2. Share the selfie on their Instagram account with hashtags: #novasuperstar #novacampustour #huaweinova3 #huaweinova3i #novaatUITM (*depending on which uni we are at)
3. Every student who participates will get a HUAWEI goodie bags (provided if they have experienced the demo zone and 360 camera experience)
4. 3x Consolation prizes per University (Huawei Power Bank)
5. The picture with most creative selfie & creative caption will win the 1x Grand Prize Huawei Nova 3i (1 unit for all 13 universities)

AR Video Challenge

1. Record a 10-second video using the AR stickers / Gesture Effects / 3D QMOJI and tell us why you deserve to win a Huawei nova 3
2. Upload to FB with hashtag: #novasuperstar #novacampustour #huaweinova3 #huaweinova3i #novaatUITM (*depending on which uni we are at)
3. The most creative reason on why they deserve to be the winner will win the 1 unit of Huawei nova 3 (1 unit for all 13 Uni)

Nova Apprentice Program

Lastly, as for the Nova Apprentice Program and receive scholarships total up to RM30,000, here's what you need to do:

1. Create a team with 3 members from the respective university
2. Develop a business model and eCommerce platform to promote Huawei nova 3 & nova 3i
3. One team who generates most interests over our product and able to complete the task using their business, marketing, social media and sales skills is entitled to be offered a scholarship up to RM15,000
4. First Prize: RM15,000 | Second Prize: RM10,000 | Third Prize: RM5,000
