We are just two days away from the unveiling of the Huawei P40 series smartphones. Traditionally, Huawei Malaysia would always have the devices ready after the global launch and that seems to be the case for us in Malaysia. According to our new favourite SIRIM spotter, @KevinNgTK, the Huawei P40 5G just got certified recently.

Approved since 21 March 2020, this Huawei P40 variant definitely comes with 5G support albeit the technology is not publicly commercially available yet. The P40 series is rumoured to have some crazy tech specs as well, particularly the camera setup which comes with a 52MP + 40MP + 13MP and 2 telephoto lens. Heck, there could even be a triple front camera!

Besides that, the P40 series is expected to sport the latest Kirin 990 chipset and according to a leaked image from China, there will be 3 memory variants for each model. The internal storage starts from 64GB up to 512GB, whereas the RAM is 8GB by default.

The live stream event will kick off on 26 March 2020 at 9PM on their official Facebook page and YouTube channel. Stay tuned for our official Huawei P40 series news coverage at TechNave.com.
