Based on a leaked which came from a South Korean online retailer, it seems that there’s a possibility that Huawei might release the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition which is expected to come equipped with up to 5 camera sensors at the back. Other than that, the aforementioned retailer detailed the full tech specs of the smartphone as well as whether it comes with GMS or not (spoiler: it’s not).

In terms of the tech specs, the source mentioned that the P40 Pro Premium Edition is expected to come with the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, 6.7-inch OLED display as well as a 5500mAh internal battery which supports up to 50W fast charging. Camera-wise, the smartphone in question has a 52MP + 40MP + 8MP + 3D ToF + periscope camera at the back while the front-facing selfie camera remains unknown.

Tech specs of the P40 Pro Premium Edition

Pricing-wise, the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition is the most expensive of the P40 series and it’s expected to start from USD1338(~RM5716) onwards. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the Huawei P40 series will come with Google Mobile Services based on the online retailer. With all that said, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt due to the fact that Huawei has yet to provide an official statement in regards to the leaked info.

Not only that, but there’s no official news on the Malaysia release date, confirmed tech specs, and local pricing of the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition for now.
