Huawei has officially announced that the Huawei P40 series has officially been unveiled, and it comes equipped with notable tech specs such as the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset, triple rear camera with up to 50MP image sensor. The P40 series consists of the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro which are available in Ice White, Deep Sea Blue, Black, Silver Frost, and Blush Cold colour.
The P40 Pro Plus, on the other hand, is available in Ceramic Black, as well as Ceramic White colour. As for the pricing, the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, as well as the Pro Plus variants are expected to start from 799 Euros(~RM3845), 999 Euros (~RM4808), and 1399 Euros (~RM6733) respectively.
In terms of the tech specs, the P40 comes equipped with the chipset mentioned above, 8GB RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, 6.1-inch OLED display as well as a 3800mAh battery. Camera-wise, it has a 50MP UltraVision + 16MP ultrawide + 8MP telephoto camera as well as a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
The Pro variant, on the other hand, comes with largely the same specs as the P40 except that it has a larger 6.58-inch 90Hz OLED Display, larger 4200mAh battery, up to 256GB ROM and a 50MP UltraVision + 40MP ultrawide + 12MP SuperSensing camera in the rear. The Pro Plus is a step up from the Pro variant, due to the fact that it has a 50MP UltraVision + 40MP Ultrawide + 8MP 10x telephoto + 8MP 3x telephoto + ToF sensor penta camera setup instead.
As for the features, the P40's camera is able to achieve up to 10x zoom while the Pro, as well as the Pro Plus variants, are able to achieve up to 50x and 100x zoom. Other than that, they've also introduced the Celia virtual assistant which allows the user to utilize various functionality via voice commands which will be available on all P40 series smartphones.
