As previously teased, Huawei has revamped the whole P Series to Huawei Pura. So as advertised, the Pura Series has been revealed today with four new models - the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+ and Pura 70 Ultra. Here's everything you need to know about the new lineup.
Starting with the Pura 70, this phone has 12GB of RAM and three different types of storage - 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. It also has a 6.6-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED FHD+ display with a 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass, while its front camera is 13MP and the triple rear camera consists of a 50MP OIS primary + 13MP ultrawide + 12MP OIS periscope telephoto setup. As a standard model, its battery is quite impressive with 4900mAh, supporting 66W wired/50W wireless super-fast charging technology.
Interestingly, Huawei didn't write down the chipset for all the Pura models. However, sources say that it could be the Kirin 9010 as an upgraded version of the Kirin 9000s for the Mate 60 series. As for the Pura Pro variants, all three have similar specs, such as the 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED FHD+ display, 13MP front camera, 50MP + 12.5MP + 48MP triple rear camera, and a 5050mAh battery with 100W wired/80W wireless charging. Also, all the phones use IP68 water and dust resistance, Type C headphone jack, NFC, and HarmonyOS 4.2.
On that note, the Pura 70 Ultra is a bit different as it uses all the high-end specs. It has 16GB of RAM, 512GB or 1TB of storage, a 50MP OIS primary (an interchangeable aperture) + 40MP ultrawide + 50MP OIS macro telephoto and a slightly bigger 5200mAh battery with 100W wired/80W wireless super-fast charging. Huawei also emphasized its XD Motion Engine feature can capture ultra-high-speed movements at 300km/h which is great for a fast-paced environment. Its zoom can go up to 200x and the Super Macro is at 35x.
The lineup also has a few AI features, including gesture motion to scroll up and down, privacy protection, AI image editing, a personal assistant, and others. All four models have different colour schemes and it's not known if Huawei Malaysia plans to import them here, but here are the estimated prices at the moment.
