Besides the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series, Huawei Malaysia also officially launched the Watch 5 series here. As reported before, it is available in two sizes —42mm and 46mm—from a starting price of RM1,799.
First sales promotion
Starting on 5 June, the Watch 5 series can be purchased through the brand’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. In-store availability begins on 7 June at Huawei Experience Stores nationwide. Early buyers can also receive complimentary gifts, including Huawei FreeBuds 5 and a Health+ subscription, while stocks last.

Recapping the features
The Watch 5 series offers a lighter and more durable build thanks to the use of 904L stainless steel and aerospace-grade silver alloy. Sapphire glass covers the watch face, while strap options range from fluoroelastomer to new materials inspired by denim and silk.
One of the standout features is Huawei’s new Multi-sensing X-TAP technology, which allows users to access a comprehensive 10-metric health snapshot—including ECG, blood oxygen levels, and emotional well-being.
Gesture controls also make their debut in the series, allowing users to interact with their smartwatch without touching the screen, such as answering calls or controlling music with hand movements. eSIM support is included in select models as well.
Battery life varies by model and mode: the 46mm version can last up to 4.5 days in standard use or 11 days in power-saving mode, while the 42mm variant offers 3 to 7 days, depending on usage.
