December 2021 is turning out to be a rather eventful month. A lot of companies are gearing up for new device launches, likely in anticipation of the Christmas and New Year seasons. Among them is Huawei, which is expected to launch a new smartwatch soon.

Thanks to a new leak on Weibo, we now get to see what the Huawei Watch D would look like, way ahead of its launch on 23 December 2021. The smartwatch has a typical rectangle body (looks like plastic) with the 'Home' and 'Health' buttons on the right, as well as a rubber strap to go with it.

In terms of features, the images confirmed that they would come with blood-pressure monitoring, heart-rate monitor, and related ECG measurement. As for the software, it's based on HarmonyOS and can connect to the health authorities in China. This should allow the watch to do things like alert health professionals if a patient is experiencing major health issues.

Because of that particular feature, the Huawei Watch D might not come to Malaysia (at least, not anytime soon). But would this be something you'd be interested in getting? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
