Is the new laptop going to part of the MateBook series?

When it comes to certain brands, you never have to worry about a lack of leaks. This time around, we got a new one about an upcoming Huawei laptop and it's an interesting one. If the reports are true, then Huawei could be working on a new laptop PC that will have a 'floating' 3K display.

According to Changan Digital (via GSMArena), Huawei is set to introduce a new notebook with a frameless 3K floating display. It will allegedly have very thin bezels, allowing viewers a more unobstructed view of the display. We're not too sure what the 'frameless' part means, but this could be related to how the thin bezels can make it seem like the display is floating. More importantly, it seems that this laptop may launch on 19 August 2020.

If that's not enough of a leak for you, the tipster also mentioned in a separate Weibo post that Honor could be looking to launch an entry-level MagicBook laptop soon. He claimed that it will be named MagicBook SE and that Honor will quietly release the new product without an official launch event. This may be an existing entry-level model, except with new CPUs launched in 2020 like the AMD 4000 Mobile CPUs.

While Changan Digital has been pretty reliable before, do take these two rumours with a grain of salt. But with that said, what do you think this laptop with a floating display could look like? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
