Electric vehicles are slowly becoming a thing even in Malaysia. For instance, Tesla has been making waves here this year. Of course, that's not the only EV maker with interesting cars. Huawei and Chery also have a new collab car, the Luxeed S7.

According to CNEVPost, Huawei and Chery announced their first collaboration project. The Luxeed S7 is an all-electric mid-size sedan launching on 28 November 2023. It comes in four variants - Pro, Max, Max+, and Max RS, with all four variants now available on pre-sale. As for prices, they range from 258000 yuan (~RM168846), 298000 yuan (~RM194975), 328000 yuan (~RM214604) and 358000 yuan (~RM234232), respectively.

Spec-wise, the Luxeed S7 sports an 800V high-voltage battery pack. The battery allegedly offers a range of more than 200km with just 5 minutes of charge and 400km with 15 minutes of charging. The four variants also have CLTC ranges of 550 km, 705 km, 800 km, and 630 km. Besides the range, it's said that the Luxeed S7 will come in single-motor and dual-motor versions. The former will deliver a maximum power of 215kW, while the latter has an extra 150kW front motor.

Overall, the Luxeed S7 seems to be an EV sedan that looks great, runs fast, and (should) last long enough. We have no idea if this car would make its way to Malaysia, but would you buy one if it landed here? Let us know in the comments below!
