Huawei appoints Matthew Ng as Sales Director of Consumer Business Group

Matthew Ng, Sales Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group 

On 24 November  2015, Matthew Ng has been appointed by Huawei Technologies Malaysia to be a Sales Director of Consumer Business Group (BG), Huawei Malaysia.

Peter Tong, President of South Pacific Region of Huawei Consumer BG, said, “With Matthew on board, we now have a wider experience in mobile sales industry. We believe that he will enable Huawei’s Consumer Business Group to soar even further in the Malaysian market. Huawei Consumer Business Group in the Southern Pacific Region is currently experiencing a strategic transformation and we hope to attract other industry talents to join us and raise the bar for not just Huawei but also the industry.”

Mr. Ng has 15 years working experience in Channel and Sales Development in various companies for the mobile industry such as Samsung and Samart. A veteran of analyzing and monitoring market trends along with developing successful channel structures, and as a new member of the Huawei Group, he will lead a team to accelerate sales figures in the local market.

We are completely aligned with our global direction – to consolidate Huawei Consumer Business Group’s position as a leading smartphone brand.” Peter Tong concluded. 

Along with Mr. Ng, on 28 October and 9 November both Abigail Sarah Brody and Robert Lewandowski were also appointed by the Group serving as a Chief Designer of User Experience, and a New Ambassador respectively.
