Chinese New Year is always celebrated with the colour red to symbolize prosperity. What better way for Huawei to usher in the year of pig with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro smartphone in Fragrant Red! That’s not all though as the company is looking to launch the smartphone in the colour Comet Blue as well, making the colour variants of the device seven in total.
The red variant of the smartphone was teased on Weibo with hints showing that it may be launched on the 5th of February. The blue variant of the smartphone was seen only in the source codes of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s website with no official word on the release yet. Besides that, the Chinese company has also unveiled their latest smartphone, the Huawei Y5 Lite. It is their second Android Go smartphone with simple, entry level specs and a low price tag. The smartphone features a 5.45 inch IPC LCD as well as an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera
The phone’s tech specs include 1GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable, a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor as well as a 3020mAh battery capacity. The smartphone is only available in Pakistan for PKR16500 (~RM484) in the colours Blue and Black.
