Earlier today, gizchina.com has mentioned that Huawei could be releasing the Huawei P40 Lite which is expected to come equipped with the HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G chipset. Due to the fact that it is a Lite variant, it will be priced much cheaper compared to the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and Pro Plus at only 300USD (~RM1300).

As for the tech specs, the aforementioned smartphone is expected to come equipped with the chipset mentioned above, quad-camera setup with up to 64MP image sensor, 16MP front-facing selfie camera, 6.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Not only that, but it also comes with a 4000mAh which supports 40W fast charging

With all that said, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei has yet to confirm nor deny the leaks regarding the P40 Lite. Furthermore, there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date and local pricing of the smartphone in question.
