Based on a statement by gizchina.com, it seems that Huawei could be unveiling a product called the Huawei Mate Watch this year. While not much is known in regards to the exact tech specs of the aforementioned smartwatch, it may come with similar tech specs to the Huawei Watch GT series and it might be unveiled alongside the new Mate series smartphones.
However, seeing as it is a Mate product, there could be a slight emphasis on productivity. Do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei has yet to provide an official statement in regards to the leak.
