Huawei has officially revealed the Huawei Pura X Max, marking a major shift in foldable smartphone design by introducing a wide-format foldable instead of the tall, narrow form factor seen in most current devices.
According to reports, the device represents one of the first modern attempts at a horizontally wide foldable, positioning Huawei ahead of competitors like Samsung and Apple in what could become the next evolution of foldable smartphones.
A Wider Approach to Foldables
The Huawei Pura X Max features a noticeably different design philosophy. Instead of unfolding into a tall tablet-like display, the device opens into a wider, more compact tablet shape that is better suited for landscape use cases such as video playback, multitasking, and gaming.
