Huawei is now worth $62.278 billion on the Brand Finance Global 500 2019

In Huawei's latest financial report in 2019, they have managed to climb up to the 12th spot on the Brand Finance Global 500 2019 chart. It was released by Brand Finance, a British-based brand value consulting company and previously, Huawei was sitting on the 25h spot which a pretty big jump.

The jump from the 25th spot to 12th shows a growth rate of 63.7% and the company is currently worth 62.278 billion in USD. In addition to that, Huawei also sold 200 million smartphone units and they are proving to more popular. According to Huawei's Consumer Business CEO, Yu Chengdong, he said:

"In 2018, Huawei's consumer business achieved revenues of more than $50 billion, and global shipments of smartphones exceeded 206 million units. Among them, the Huawei P20 series shipped more than 17 million units worldwide. The Huawei Mate 20 series shipped in October last year exceeded 7.5 million units.”

 To add on to that,  a well-known analyst organization Canalys also commented on Huawei:

“HUAWEI's increasingly strong brand influence and continuous positive technological innovation have enabled the brand to more freely explore the high-end market, thus greatly expanding the distance from other brands. In the short term, no other manufacturer can challenge its market position.”
In recent years, Huawei has introduced many “world’s first” – first smartphone to integrate Dual Leica camera with the Huawei P20 Series, and first smartphone to incorporate the Dual NPU AI-driven Kirin 980 chipset with the Huawei Mate 20 Series, proving that Huawei is coursing ahead as a tech leader and leader in the smartphone industry.
In 2019, with artificial intelligence and IoT taking the stage, Huawei's consumer business will continue to provide its global consumers even better, innovative products in continuing to lead the industry. "
