Today, the Huawei nova 8 is finally released in Malaysia at the price of RM1899. If you have been waiting for this, you can now purchase the phone at its HUAWEI Store Online, Lazada HUAWEI Flagship Store and Shopee HUAWEI Official Store. The phone will come with some freebies as well.
Besides the online stores, the nova 8 will also be available at every Huawei Experience Store and Senheng. With every purchase made, the freebies include an Entertainment Gift Box, an exclusive Huawei voucher, 1 week of JOOX VIP Access and 1 month of 200GB Huawei Cloud storage. By the way, the Huawei Store Online will be available on the My Huawei app starting tomorrow (28 August) onwards. Do keep out for flash sales on the app from 4-6 September 2021.
Let's recap the nova 8 tech specs. The phone comes with a 6.57-inch curved OLED display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, the camera module is the same as the nova 8i, carrying a 32MP AI front camera as well as a 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) quad rear camera.
As a local set, the nova 8 is sporting a Kirin 820E chipset, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery pack is only 3800mAh, though, but at least it has a 66W fast-charging technology on board. Moreover, it also has a dual-view video function that allows the user to record the front and back at the same time.
