Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that the Huawei nova 8 and the HONOR V40 will be unveiled somewhere around December 2020. While not much is known in regards to the exact tech specs of both the smartphones, our source did include an image which shows that both the smartphones could come with a camera module that looks almost the same.

In terms of the tech specs, both the smartphones are expected to come equipped with up to a Dimensity 1000+ chipset, while the HONOR V40 series will have a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, 50MP camera sensor, and up to a 66W fast charging. The V40 Pro Plus, on the other hand, will most likely have a Kirin 9000 chipset instead which presumably has higher performance.

With all that said, do take some information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei and HONOR has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
