It seems that Huawei has officially unveiled the Huawei nova 8 series, which consists of the Huawei nova 8, as well as the Huawei nova 8 Pro, starting from the price of RMB3299 (~RM2051) and RMB3999 (~RM2486). While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, we can expect the local price of the smartphone to start at around RM1899.
In terms of the tech specs, the Huawei nova 8 comes equipped with the Kirin 985 chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB ROM, 6.57-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, as well as a 3800mAh internal battery which supports up to 66W fast charging. Camera-wise, the phone has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has a 32MP selfie camera.
The nova 8 Pro, on the other hand, comes equipped with largely the same specs other than a larger 6.72-inch 120Hz display, an extra 16MP selfie camera, as well as a larger 4000mAh internal battery. As for the features, it comes equipped with a VC Liquid Cooler to ensure that your phone stays cool while mobile gaming, as well as up to 300Hz touch sampling rate.
But that’s not all, the smartphones come equipped with up to 66W fast charging which lets you charge the phone up to 60% in just 15 minutes and 100% in just 35 minutes. As for the camera, it comes with various features including a 100-degree ultra-wide-angle selfie camera, stabilizer, and more.
