It's been a while since we last heard of the Huawei nova series. The last time that the company did was at the end of 2020 by releasing the nova 8 and nova 8 Pro but only for the Chinese market. Today, Huawei has confirmed the existence of the nova 8i with an official render and tech specs.

Starting with the design, the body does look very premium thanks to the circular rear camera module. The main rear camera is using a 64MP sensor which is accompanied by an ultrawide, macro and depth lens. The Huawei Edgeless Display measures 6.67-inches and on the back, it has a non-conductive vacuum metallisation (NCVM) that gives off that premium feel.

Continuing about the display, it has a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio, Eye Comfort Mode and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Huawei also confirmed that the phone is featuring an unknown Snapdragon chipset, 128GB of storage and a 6GB or 8GB RAM option. Lastly, the fast charging speed supports 66W which can fully charge the phone in just 38 minutes.
