Huawei nova 9 Malaysia release: Snapdragon 778 chipset, 6.57-inch 120Hz OLED display, and 50MP RYYB ultra vision camera for RM1999

On 8 November 2021, Huawei announced the pre-order for the Huawei nova 9 for Malaysia. This is a premium mid-range device with some high-end features, and now it's officially available here. In conjunction with its launch, there will also be a vlog contest.

First, let's do a recap on the Huawei nova 9. The mid-range smartphone comes equipped with a Snapdragon 778 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It also has a 6.57-inch 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP+2MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup, a 32MP selfie camera, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Powering all of these features is a 4300mAh battery, and support for 66W fast charging.

As mentioned, there will be a contest being held with the Huawei nova 9's launch. An extension of the one from earlier this month, this vlog contest began on 17 November and will continue until 19 December 2021. You need to record a video that's at least 1 minute long, then upload it to Facebook as a public post with the #BeAnovaStar hashtag.
