Besides the premium Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Huawei P50, the company also unveiled the Huawei nova Y70. Priced at just RM699, this is easily a good option for those who want a budget-friendly device. It's not available yet but it will launch on 17 June 2022.
Available in Pearl White, Crystal Blue and Midnight Black, interested customers may purchase the phone on the Huawei online store, Lazada, Shopee, as well as its Huawei Experience Stores. If you purchase the nova Y70 on its launching day, you would get exclusive Huawei Mobile Service rewards and other freebies that are worth up to RM70.
In terms of tech specs, the chipset was not mentioned during the presentation but the nova Y70 features a 6.75-inch TFT LCD in 720p, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage (expandable up to 512GB), and EMUI 12 out of the box. Moreover, it has an 8MP front camera, alongside a 48MP (main) 5MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth) triple rear camera.
Last but not least, it has a rather huge battery pack with 6000mAh and supports 22.5W SuperCharge technology. In case you're wondering, there's no 5G connectivity on this phone but at least there's an audio jack and a USB Type C port.
