For the mid-range market, Huawei just announced the new G9 Lite smartphone, which has a mid-range price, but with high-end design and features. It sits below the recently launched Huawei P9, but carries many design elements that is associated with the pricier brother.
It comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD Display, a metal body, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with microSD, and a 16 megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 lens. It has a fingerprint scanner, just like the P9.
For colour options, it comes in three choices – dark grey, light grey and gold. It is going on sale for RMB 1700 (~RM 1045). Huawei Malaysia has yet to announce if they will be bringing in the G9 Lite to Malaysia. We may see it come with the P9 to market, so look out for more news on the smartphone right here on TechNave.
