Huawei officially introduces the honor 7X, a stunning 18:9 display, dual-camera smartphone from only 1300 CNY (RM830)

It’s finally official guys – Huawei has just released its next mid-range beast, the honor 7X in their hometown of China and it is looking straight up premium.

The honor 7X will feature a delightful 5.93” display with an 18:9 screen ratio and a crystal-clear resolution of 1080x2160p (407ppi). The 7X will also have a powerful Kirin 659 chipset grouped along with Mali-T830 MP2 graphics and complemented with 4GB of RAM for that extra edge in any game. Don’t fret though, it will also carry from 32GB to 128GB worth of expandable storage and 3340mAh worth of battery just so you won’t run out.

Up on the back, main camera will feature a 16MP+2MP dual-camera setup along with an 8MP front camera. Not to forget the fingerprint scanner right under the cameras and of course the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack on the left.

The honor 7X will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 running the show. It will also be available in the standard Gold, Blue and Black. The 32GB version will go for 1300 CNY  (~RM830) followed by 1700 CNY (~RM1100) for the 64GB and of course 2000 CNY (~RM1300) for the ultimate 128GB version.
