Huawei's tri-fold device is going to launch in September

Pictures of Huawei Consumer Business Division CEO Richard Yu holding a tri-foldable device have been circulating online so we know it's definitely coming. While there isn't much information about it, Mr Yu himself confirmed that it's going to launch next month.

It happened during a Stelato S9 delivery ceremony event when a customer simply asked Mr Yu about the tri-fold Huawei phone and when they could purchase one. To which he responded - "Next month, in September" but without a specific date. We think it's likely to happen after the Apple Event because it's not a good idea to clash two big events.

According to sources, the new tri-fold device measures 10 inches when fully unfolded. It will be powered by HarmonyOS and supports a stylus, which consumers can use it as a tablet-like experience for office work usage. Rumours say the device could cost over 20,000 Yuan (~RM12.3K).

There is still a month to go so until then, we have to wait and see when Huawei will officially give us the teasers and livestream event.
