To celebrate the achievements of Malaysian athletes, Huawei will reward the Asian Games and Asian Para Games winners with the latest Huawei Smart Watch. This is a fitting gift for our athletes because it features cutting-edge applications in health, fitness, and sports management.
These watches were presented to the Youth and Sports Minister YB Hannah Yeoh during the Flag Handing Ceremony for the Malaysian Contingent. The event took place last Monday and was officiated by Bandar Tun Razak MP Dato' Seri Dr Wan Azizah Dr Wan Ismail. Hannah expressed her excitement about this incentive:
“We hope this will be the start of many more meaningful collaborations and support from Huawei to assist us, especially in exploring technology assistance to further elevate the performance of our national athletes.”
We have yet to confirm which models will be rewarded to the athletes. However, Huawei hinted that these smartwatches are slated for global launch on 14 September 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. According to some rumours, that model could be the Huawei GT 4.
