Software is a big part of the devices we use these days, something that companies are well-aware of these days. Huawei has conferences dedicated for its software and will be announcing new software developments in its next Huawei Developer Conference 2020. The event will be held from 10 to 12 September 2020.

In the announcement on Twitter, you can see that the event is named "HDC.Together". It's suggested that the underlined 'C' here is referring to Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) Core 5.0, which as you know is used in its Huawei smartphones. Along with the new version of HMS, Huawei is also expected to introduce EMUI 11 for mobile devices.

Of course, conferences like these tend to have topics on more enterprise-level technologies. As the theme this time also includes experiencing a "fully connected intelligent world", Huawei is likely to unveil the HarmonyOS 2.0 as well. This OS will mainly be used for IoT devices, smart TVs, smartwatches, and more.

The new HMS Core 5.0 is most relevant for general consumers who use Huawei smartphones, as we can expect some new apps and features to come with it. Having said that, what app or feature do you feel that Huawei devices currently need the most? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
