Huawei unveiling their 6nm Kirin 820 5G on 24 February 2020

Huawei recently announced that they might be introducing a new Kirin 820 5G chipset, which will be unveiled during the online conference that’s happening at 9PM on 24 February 2020. Based on a statement by gizchina.com, it seems that the new chipset comes with 5G support and it is manufactured using TSMN’s 6nm process.

The new process will not only have a higher density as compared to the 7nm process, but it is expected to be much more energy efficient as well. Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to the performance and specifications of the new chipset.

However, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Huawei has yet to officially confirmed whether the Kirin 820 5G chipset will make its debut soon.
