It wasn't that long ago when Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. Now there's a new round of leaks about the next Galaxy S22 series next year thanks to reputable Ice Universe, revealing a bunch of tech spec details. If you somehow can't wait for the next Galaxy phone, here's what we know so far.

According to the tipster, Samsung could plan to launch three models as per standard which are the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Starting with the exterior specs, the three phones could be slightly bigger this time with 6.06-inches, 6.55-inches and 6.81-inches in order. Only the ultra variant could get a QHD+ resolution while the other two could be in FHD+ resolution.

At the camera corner, Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Pro could be equipped with a 50MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 12MP (optical zoom) module. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is probably getting the best set with a 108MP (main) and an extra 12MP sensor as a periscope zoom. In the same order again, the battery pack could be 3800mAh, 4600mAh and 5000mAh. A fast charging technology of 65W is expected.

Last but not least, another tipster known as Tron said that the Galaxy S22 series should be using the rumoured Snapdragon 898 chipset. Of course, that should be the US market whereas Malaysia may get an Exynos 2200 powered chipset. We won't be surprised if that's the case but let's wait and see.

These are the leaks of the Galaxy S22 series so far but we are still far away from the annual Galaxy Unpacked next year. Until then, take this news with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
