It was only more than a month ago when ILLEGEAR launched the Neo 14 Air. Today, the local gaming brand officially introduced the MACH 16 FURY as an upper mid-tier gaming laptop at a starting price of RM4750.
Specs For Gaming
The MACH 16 FURY is powered by an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, boasting 55W base power and paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU (with 8GB VRAM). Other available GPU options include the RTX 5050 and 5060 as well.
Next, the laptop sports a 16-inch WQXGA (2.5K) display with a 180Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour accuracy and 500 nits peak brightness. As for the build, it is housed in an aluminium top cover with a plastic base with subtle white accents on the rear, while the 16 logo is beneath the chassis as a visual signature.
Equipped with a 4-cell 80Wh battery, the MACH 16 FURY provides solid runtime for extended play or work. For connectivity, it includes:
- Dual USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports (20Gbps, Display Output, 140W PD)

On top of that, the MACH 16 FURY provides amplified sound with Nahimic-enhanced audio and dual 2W speakers. To keep the gaming machine cool, ILLEGEAR also redesigned the cooling system, enhanced with phase change thermal materials and an optimised heat dissipation compartment.
