If you’d like to shout quietly online then Mutalk could be the microphone muzzle for you

We’ve all been there, when you suddenly get too into the game with your online team mates or you speak too loudly during an online meeting and someone taps your shoulder telling you to be quiet. Well, mutalk could be the gadget for you as it looks like the VR muzzle for your mouth so you don’t bother other people around you.

Recently announced at CES2023 by Shiftall (via Lowyat.net), the bluetooth microphone is designed to avoid sound leakage, so you can shout as loudly online as you want. It also automatically mutes when removed from your mouth and it can also filter out ambient noise. We just think it will likely get sweaty in there very fast as there’s no mention of any air filtration or ventilation. However, both the mouth pad and the moisture absorbing cushion are removable and washable.

Asides from gaming and online meetings, we can certainly see the mutalk being useful for content creators recording voice overs (without having to soundproof your room) but unfortunately for Malaysians, there are no Malaysian release dates or pricing details just yet. It is expected to come to the US for $200 USD (~RM867) in 2023 though. Would you get it or something similar? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
