With the price of the Huawei P40 series having leaked yesterday, many are expecting the company to host a launch event soon. Besides the new smartphones, Huawei is also expected to launch the new Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch as well. Now, images and some tech specs of the device have been leaked online.

According to WinFuture, the Watch GT 2e will come with an update in design as opposed to the Watch GT 2 that was released last year. The most notable difference is that it's slightly bigger but lighter at the same time, likely due to the strap being plastic. You get a more sporty design for this variant and the size obviously makes it more suitable for men.

As for the other tech specs, you'll notice that there aren't too many differences from the Watch GT 2. It still has a 1.39-inch display, though it seems to be using an AMOLED panel now. Aside from that, the RAM, storage, connectivity, and other features are the same.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e comes in black, green, and red colours. It's expected to sell for 200 euros (~RM960). With that said, would you prefer the standard one or buy this sporty variant once it comes to Malaysia? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
