When it comes to noise-cancelling headphones, other than Sony, Bose is another brand that has been praised for satisfying the need with its QuietComfort line. The last time that the company launched a QuietComfort headphone was four years ago with the QuietComfort 35 II. Now, it's reported that the product line might be making a comeback soon with a successor.

It appears that Bose has filed the product, presumably called QuietComfort 45, with FCC and some images were leaked. From the images, we can tell that the headphones might not be getting a makeover. However, the source mentions that it would be a good idea as the design of QuietComfort 35 doesn't need fixing.

Not long ago, Bose had launched the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 but it's something that focuses more on the premium segment. Therefore, introducing the QuietComfort 45 can keep parts of its customers by offering the latest upgrades to its more affordable noise-cancelling headphones. One of the upgrades is suggested to be a Type C charging port as the current QuietComfort 35 II still uses a micro USB port.
