vivo's very first self-developed image sensor dubbed V1 might soon debut together with the upcoming X70 series. Today, images of the V1 chips have surfaced, revealing that they are already in mass production. Therefore, if nothing goes wrong, we could see the chip presented with the latest flagship vivo smartphone next month.

According to the source, the V1 is likely to be featured on the X70 Pro+, along with a micro-panel camera solution. Previous rumours suggested that the X70 Pro will house a quad-camera setup, and the main camera could feature a 1/1.28-inch outsole sensor. Therefore, we can expect the Pro+ variant to be similar but using better sensors.

The upcoming X70 series could sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a single punch-hole, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will reportedly pack the Dimensity 1200 chipset under the hood. For the camera feature, it could also arrive with a 5-axis image stabilization.
