Introducing I-1 a brand new design of the old analog instant camera, redesigned by the team at Impossible Project. Just like the instant camera by Polaroid, the I-1 will use its own Impossible type 600 film based on the discontinued Polaroid 600 film, that is also supported on the I-1. The film will be used to print out the captured photos from within the camera itself. This new instant camera I-1 comes with a price tag of $300 (RM1161) and is set to release on 10 May 2016. As for now, no Malaysia release dates just yet.

Although the I-1 has a simple looking design, it does come with a lot of features. From the outside, it looks like an old instant camera redesigned to meet the standards of today, but in reality, it can be used with a companion app on iOS and be connected via Bluetooth. That way you will have manual control of features like aperture, shutter speed, and flash. Within the app also, there is an option to use their creative tools where you can further unveil the camera capabilities by using double exposures and long exposures to fulfill your creativity needs.

The fancy looking ring flash at the front allows you to automatically adjust the I-1 to the ambient light and the focus distance. It can also be set to be triggered remotely as well thus making it easier to take portrait photos too. More detailed specifications and features of this camera will be released in the upcoming weeks by the Impossible Project team.
