Infinix has officially unveiled the Infinix GT 50 Pro in Malaysia, positioning it as the centrepiece of its expanding GT ecosystem. Priced from RM1899, the device targets mobile gamers looking for sustained performance rather than short bursts of peak power, with a strong focus on thermal management, responsiveness, and system-level optimisation.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro Tech Specs
Under the hood, the GT 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, built on a 4nm architecture. It is also paired with a large 6500mAh battery, supporting 45W wired and 30W wireless charging, along with reverse charging for accessories. Combined with long-term software support, Infinix said that this gaming phone will have multiple years of updates. It's also worth mentioning that the audio is powered by Dolby Atmos.
Additionally, the GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and includes eye comfort features for extended use. At the core of the GT 50 Pro is its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling architecture, which uses a micro-pump liquid cooling setup that directly covers key heat-generating components. Infinix claims this setup allows the device to sustain high frame rates even under heavy workloads, reducing the risk of thermal throttling. The cooling system is further enhanced by an optional GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory, which introduces wireless bypass charging and active cooling to keep temperatures under control while preserving battery health.
The GT 50 Pro is engineered to deliver a consistently smooth gaming experience, supporting up to 144FPS gameplay in selected esports titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Free Fire, and Call of Duty: Mobile. This high-refresh capability is paired with software optimisation tools, including an AI Frame Rescue Engine and Game Thermal Control Engine, which aim to minimise frame drops and maintain performance stability. A dedicated Hardcore Esports Mode also disables notifications and optimises system resources for competitive gameplay.
Running on XOS 16, the GT 50 Pro introduces a suite of AI-driven features designed to enhance both gameplay and everyday usage. Tools such as AI Smart Trigger can automate complex in-game actions, while additional features like voice prompts and touch optimisation improve responsiveness and situational awareness. The device also integrates a system-wide AI assistant that can be accessed quickly during gameplay.
One of the standout hardware features is the inclusion of pressure-sensitive GT Triggers, offering tactile controls similar to console gaming. Pricing, Availability and Launch Promotion in Malaysia
For pricing, the 12GB+ 256GB variant is officially priced at RM1899, but is available at RM1699 during the promotional period. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at RM2199, with a promotional price of RM1999. The Infinix GT 50 Pro is available in Malaysia starting 5 May 2026 through both online and offline channels. Consumers can purchase the device via Infinix’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop, as well as authorised retail partners nationwide.
During the launch period, Infinix is offering a RM200 discount across all variants until 10 May at 11:59 PM, while stocks last.
