After teasing about their Free Fire collaboration, Infinix Malaysia have officially announced their HOT 30 smartphone featuring this collab. The HOT 30 will come with Free Fire merch that includes a case, “BOOYAH” lanyard, Cap and documentation along with gaming oriented features.
These features and tech specs include a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 8GB RAM (software expandable to 16GB), a 6.78-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate and 600 nits brightness for gaming under the sun. The collab means that the HOT 30 offers customized Free Fire wallpapers, icons, widgets and sound effects. There’s also an AR self-portrait using Free Fire game characters.
Other notable tech specs include a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 50MP camera and DTS dual speakers. In addition, Infinix and Free Fire will also hold a Co-Lab theme collection activity along with a TikTok Challenge for players to upload their game highlights and win prizes with more details on their channels coming soon.
While there’s no Malaysia release date just yet, Infinix Malaysia are currently holding a Guess and Win contest to guess the HOT 30’s price which will end on 7 April 2023. We expect the phone to be available after that date for perhaps below RM900 to RM1000? What do you think?
