Infinix has announced the launch of their Infinix HOT 70 smartphone for the entry-level Malaysian market at RM649. Featuring a Dynamic Shine look and feel in Green Texture, Night Pulse and Silver Dancer, the phone is just 7.49mm thin, weighs 195g with a Helio G100 Ultimate chipset and has a large 6000 mAh battery, One-Tap AI button and more. It is available starting today.

Other tech specs and features you don’t often see for the entry-level

Despite the large 6000 mAh battery, the Infinix HOT 70 won’t get too hot when using the 45W fast charging because it also supports Bypass Charging. The phone offers a 6.78-inch display with anti-fingerprint coating and 700 nits HBM brightness. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM (with another 6GB of extendable RAM too) and 128GB of storage.

According to Infinix, the phone is also military-grade in that it has IP65 dust and splash certification along with SGS-certified PRemium Performance and Gold Standard Drop Resistance at 1.5m drop heights. You can also use the Folax-Speaker cleaner to clear out dust and moisture using sonic vibrations.

Another stand-out feature which you don’t often see in entry-level phones is support for up to 3 major OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates. The One-Tap AI also launches the FlashMemo which recognises what’s on the screen and provides options, like turning a business card photo into a contact and so forth. There’s also Folax AI, AI Live Photo, AI Eraser, AI Extender and more.

Complimentary 3-month Google AI Plus subscription

As part of a limited-time launch promotion, you can also get a complimentary 3-month Google AI Plus subscription with 2TB of cloud storage at no additional cost. This is also available to those who buy the Infinix NOTE 60 Series, GT 50 Pro, NOTE Edge, HOT 70 Series and SMART 20.

With all of the above would you be interested in getting the Infinix HOT 70 smartphone? The memory is a bit small in our opinion but if you’re going to continue your Google AI Plus subscription you can store all your photos and videos on the 2TB of cloud storage anyway.
