Infinix Hot 50 5G release - Dimensity 6300 SoC, 120Hz display & 48MP main cam from ~RM465

Infinix has launched its latest entry-level smartphone in India, the Inifnix Hot 50 5G. Featuring some excellent specs for the price, read on to learn more. 

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5000mAh cell with support for 18W charging via the USB-C port.

The display is a 6.7-inch 120Hz with an HD+ resolution, 500 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 48MP Sony IMX582 shooter paired with a depth sensor. 

Other notable specs include Android 14 via XOS 14,  an IP54 rating, a microSD card slot, 5G connectivity and colour options of either Sleek Black, Sage Green, Vibrant Blue or Dreamy Purple. In India, the Hot 50 5G starts from INR8999 or ~RM465 for the 4/128GB variant, with global availability yet to be revealed.
