Today, Infinix officially launched the NOTE Edge in Malaysia, positioning the new model as a mid-range smartphone that blends premium aesthetics with long battery endurance and comprehensive everyday performance. Priced at RM999, here's a brief recap of all the tech specs and features.
The Infinix NOTE Edge Tech Specs
The NOTE Edge marks a global first by launching with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset. In internal testing, AnTuTu V11 scores exceed 810000 points, while popular titles such as Honor of Kings can run at up to 90 frames per second. Connectivity is further enhanced by Infinix’s Ultra Powerful Signal 3.0 AI Super Signal technology, which dynamically optimises frequency bands based on usage.
One of the headline features of the NOTE Edge is its 6500mAh battery, the largest ever fitted to an Infinix smartphone. The company claims it can perform up to 26 hours of continuous Google Maps navigation or 22 hours of YouTube playback on a single charge. Infinix also introduces a self-repairing battery mechanism that activates under low current conditions, using dynamic recrystallisation to heal micro-cracks over time.

Additionally, the company claims this allows more than 80%capacity retention after 2000 full charge cycles, equivalent to roughly six years of typical use. Charging is handled by a variable 45W system in Hyper Mode, reaching 50% in about 27 minutes from near empty and a full charge in roughly 62 minutes.
50MP Camera and Built-In AI Tools
Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera using a large 1/2 inch sensor with 0.8 micrometre pixels, designed to improve low-light performance and detail capture. The NOTE Edge also debuts Infinix’s Live Photo mode, which records short three-second clips with audio, allowing users to scrub through frames to select blur-free covers or export content directly as GIFs or MP4 files for social media.

AI features are integrated across the system, including one-tap cloud-powered photo editing in the gallery, SnapMemo for information organisation, and FOLAX AI tools aimed at simplifying everyday tasks and content creation. Moreover, the NOTE Edge runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, featuring a refreshed interface with Glow Space lighting element, supporting up to 8GB of RAM, with MemFusion extending this virtually to 16GB for heavier multitasking.
A side-mounted customisable one-tap button provides instant access to the built-in FOLAX AI assistant, which can analyse on-screen content for quick answers, translations, summaries, and other contextual actions. Infinix has also committed to three major Android-based XOS upgrades up to XOS 19, along with five years of security updates.
Premium Design With 3D Curved Display and Others

Infinix offers the phone in four colour options: Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black. On the front, the phone features a 1.5K resolution 3D curved display built with self-luminous materials, with ultra-narrow symmetrical bezels measuring as little as 1.87mm, while peak brightness reaches 4500 nits for strong outdoor visibility.
Lastly, audio is handled by dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL, delivering stronger bass and clearer mids and highs. For protection, the display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the device carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
