Today, Infinix announced that the upcoming launch of the Infinix NOTE Edge on 4 February will offer the longest software support commitment ever seen. The company claims that the NOTE Edge will receive three years of full operating system updates and five years of security updates, positioning it as a future-ready option in the premium mid-range segment.
Three Years of OS Updates and Five Years of Security Coverage
The Infinix NOTE Edge will launch with XOS 16 out of the box and is scheduled to receive updates through to XOS 19. This roadmap ensures continued access to new features, performance improvements, and interface refinements over several years of use.
In addition to major OS upgrades, the NOTE Edge will receive security updates for five years. Regular security patches are designed to protect user data and privacy against evolving threats, reinforcing the device as a reliable long term investment rather than a short-term upgrade.
TikTok Live Launch Sale Announced for 4 February
To celebrate the launch of the Infinix NOTE Edge, Infinix will host an exclusive TikTok Live launch sale on its official TikTok channel on 4 February 2026, running from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The livestream will be hosted by tech reviewer Jay Khor.
Viewers can expect livestream-only promotions, including special discounts, limited-time purchase rewards, and giveaways of limited-edition Envelope Bags. Customers who purchase the NOTE Edge during the livestream will also receive a complimentary water bottle, with selected buyers standing a chance to win an exclusive NOTE Gift Box valued at RM599.
