Infinix Smart 7 release: 6000mAh battery and Unisoc SC9863A SoC at ~RM391

Infinix has recently launched its latest affordable smartphone offering in India, Infinix Smart 7. Featuring a 6.6-inch 60Hz LCD screen with a 720 x 1612 pixels resolution and 500 nits peak brightness, the device is offered in a singular 4/64GB configuration. 

According to Infinix’s official website, the display also features a water drop style notch which houses a 5MP selfie camera. At its rear, there’s a 13MP camera paired with a depth sensor and dual-LED flash.

Under the hood, the Smart 7 is powered by the octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There’s also an option to virtually expand the RAM by up to 3GB by utilising the 64GB storage. 

The device also packs a massive 6000mAh battery, though there’s no support for fast charging. 

Other notable specs include an antibacterial back with a wave pattern design, USB-C, Android 12 OS via XOS 12, dual SIM, microSD card slot, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.2 and colour options of Azure Blue, Emerald Green and Night Black. In India, the device will go on sale starting this 27 February at INR7299 or ~RM391.
