Infinix Zero Ultra release: 200MP main camera, 180W charging and 120Hz AMOLED at ~RM1607

Infinix has released its latest smartphone offering in India, the Infinix Zero Ultra with some pretty impressive specs. Among the highlights include its 200MP main camera, which is currently the highest camera megapixel count on a smartphone. 

According to Infinix’s official Indian website, the 200MP main camera is part of a triple-camera setup which includes a 13MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. The imaging capabilities of the device are aided by OIS and an LED flash. As for the front-facing camera, the Zero Ultra sports a 32MP shooter with dual-LED flash.

Moving towards the screen, the smartphone has a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with curved edges and a punch-hole cutout for the aforementioned selfie camera. The display has an FHD+ resolution, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, up to 900 nits peak brightness and a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath. 

Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage-wise, the Zero Ultra comes with 256GB of UF 2.2 storage with options for expansion using the microSD card slot.

As for the battery, the device sports a 4500mAh cell with support for 180W wired charging using the included 180W Thunder Charger. Infinix claims that you can fully recharge the smartphone from zero in just 12 minutes. 

Other notable specs include dual SIM, Android 12 via XOS 12, 5G connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack and colour options of Coslight Silver and Genesis Noir. In India, the Zero Ultra is priced at Rs29,999 or ~RM1607 with global availability not yet revealed by Infinix as of the time of writing.
