The Redmi Note 8 is almost going to be two years old since its launch in October 2019. For some reason, Xiaomi is planning to revive the device by smashing a "2021" label onto it. The information about the Redmi Note 8 (2021) was discovered by Xiaomi product tester and software developer Kacper Skrzypek.

Skrzypek revealed the device by publishing a Twitter post with screenshots of information from one of the Xiaomi sites. However, the insider was not able to share the link to the original material as he's afraid that the company representatives would remove them. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 8 (2021) has also appeared in the database of the US Federal Communications Commission.
