Several information about the new action camera Insta360 have been leaked starting from the specification sheet to the design. However, details about the actual name of this product have yet to be identified. But, many are also speculating that it might be known as the Insta360 Ace Pro 2.
For your information, the camera comes with a lens developed in collaboration with Leica. However, a new 50MP 1/1.3-inch camera with a 157° viewing angle will be used this time, which is an improvement over the 48MP on the Ace Pro model. It is also powered by two processors with built-in AI cores to improve the camera's performance whether for image processing or software functions.
Moreover, it can record video at the highest resolution of 8K/30FPS and provide clear images in low-light environments with details preserved. This is seen to be able to compete with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro which was announced last September. It should also offer waterproofing and better battery life. The official launch date has yet to be confirmed.
